Discussion:
No forward or reverse

Have had this issue for a while. Thought I fixed it with replacing REC 1, worked for approx 3 wks and has returned. Checked Rec 3 & 4, good. Checked wiring from PCB pos 2 down to FWD and REV contactors, good. Noticed burnt wiring (brown) that connects to filter 1 (blue wire on other side of filter) and wire that goes to connector on card next to analyzer port. When meter wiring showing 0.5 volts. Not sure where to go from here.

Showing items 1 - 2 of 2 results.
The burnt wiring (brown) I believe was the problem. Once I removed the bracket for the current sensor there was a good deal of pitting and residue that, we believe, was causing just enough voltage to get through to keep the safety activated. Once I cleaned everything up and replaced wire it is working for now.

Do you get a double trip like a 2 or 5 REC or nothing at all like a bad brake switch or stuck 1A contactor?

Fact of the week
Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
