I have a 2005 yale 8000lb lift I beleive. It has no low end power anymore it can't even move a wagon with steel on it barely. So far I've only checked solenoids and there's s switch with a gear around a number 1 that makes no difference. Any ideas?

It sounds like it is engaging both directions at the same time. Try unplugging one of the directional solenoids and try moving.
It will lift and act just like it should in neutral or with clutch/brake engaged. All the bog starts once it's in a gear
How does the engine perform with a hydraulic load?
The valve covers say v6 vortec
The serial number is c813a02032y. I think its a GDP090 it is LP. It has a 1st gear lock up switch which is why i think it has more than 1 speed. The shift lever only goes forward and back one click so i cant choose the gear with that. In Neutral the forklift sounds fine and revs up quick like it should but once i put it in forward or reverse it dogs right down and will not rev up at all just kinda grumbles and barely moves
Does it have a second speed?
What is the serial number of the truck? What engine and fuel sytem is in it? LP??? gasoline??? Could be a number of things from spark plugs to low fuel pressure to a dirty air filter??? Little more info please....
