6600 tenant sweeper

I've got and older tenant sweeper that starts and runs great for about twenty min then I just shuts off check engine light comes on. Then it will start right up and run for 45 seconds and do the same thing. The spectrum 1 reg is new 3 times replaced due to freezing up got that problem resolved but the new problem still continues if you let the truck cool off you can start and run it about ten min before shut down occurs again has anyone had this issue before I'm thinking ecu is my problem not 100 sure thanks for anyone that can help oh cannot find any burnt or chaffed wires

Yes, had same issue....freekin oil pres switch. Wait til the plug blows out of intake....misfire, backfire,Have you replaced a lot of cables for right front brush lift?

Thanks for the in put that's all good that was an issue prior but the engine cutting out after warming up was ECU related kinda. The ECU was cutting the engine off because of low oil pressure from a leaking oil pressure sending unit so thanks again for reaching out and giving your thoughts !!!! Bob Heck

make sure you have good water (engine coolant) flow through the regulator and back to the engine.
