Discussion:
fault code

I have a problem accessing the dash to solve this fault code 522781-3 i think its a problem with the directional switch but now this fault code has come up i cant get into the dash to change this. Is there a way of bypassing the fault before key switch to get into the dash?

DTC 522781-3 - MONOTROL REV Switch OORH

check the switch, the wiring for shorts or opens

worse case scenario is the controller has failed

as for bypassing the error on startup?
don't know of a way other than hooking up the laptop

have you tried accessing the display diagnostics while turning the unit on instead of waiting for it? Just a longshot but generally the system has to be fully initialized before it will let you access the diagnostic screens.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
