Discussion:
Truck Mounted Forklifts

I am interested on Truck mounted forklifts. Out of two types, rear mounted and side mounted; there is not much information on side mount types. What I mean is the designs of the mounting frames, who manufacture, safety aspects, how **** to accidents compared to rear mounted etc.

Can you please share what you know about side mount devices and their operations in lifting the forklift onto the truck bed?

Thanks, but I am interested on mounting frames. Are they supplied by the side loading forklift manufacturer.

Have a look at the "Spec Checker" on our website. If you select "Forklift - All terrain - Self loading" and then "All brands" you will find specs for 26 different machines. There are other brands as well....we will work at listing them quickly. Cheers

Yes,

self-loading of Forklift on to the truck bed from a side. Side mounting frame - in to which forks are inserted in preparing for self-loading - is installed on the truck bed. There is not much information about this type of frames.

When you say side mount, are you talking about side mounting on top of a trailer?
