i started noticing that i never have any issues with the machine in summer so i tried the hair dryer , works fine. but if its really cold i will ahve to warm it more often. i dont know the name off the electronics.it have 2 computers in the back i think.
what do ya mean by monitoring the imput?
the computer it seems dont tell a set of point to contact.untill its warmed
i have manually pushed the set of point in but still nothing. does some switches in the electronics have oil in them? graspin at straws here.
thanks guys
maybe its just a sticking line contactor?
like edward says.... monitoring the inputs would be more helpful
?
I would say it was time for a reconditioned controller, but it could be most anything, and without watching the inputs to the controller logics and seeing what changes, I would not ever be sure what it was.
My question [reason for posting] is;
How did you find that hitting it with a hair dryer would fix it?
Do you normally have a hair dryer handy for troubleshooting??
does this truck have a curtis controller? ?checked the pin connections on the molex connector?
