Discussion:
Loss of steering at high speeds.

SN 020254AE
Unit has a problem with the high speed steer. I loose the steering all together to the right and it takes several switch engagements to activate the left. Was able to switch wiring and same this in opposite directions. Any ideas would be be greatly appreciated. I have a hydraulic diagram if anyone has any further info for this brand and model would be wonderful.

Sounds like you have a spool coil going bad or the spool has dirt in it......find which coil it is and ohm it and the other and see if there is a difference ?........does this do this at low speed or stopped......how about when your raised above the lift cutout switches if it has them???Does it have pothole guards that drop down when your raised?

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
