Baker b30 te/s wont lift past fist stage ?

ok , i have an old baker 36v b30 te/s. I recently fixed a hydraulic leak. it was the seal between the hydraulic pump for the mast and the motor , this truck has a separate pump for the power steering , well everything is working good , but it wont lift any real weight nor will it lift even an empty pallet past the first stage. i called around and the best info i could come up with for fluid was , and i quote " When in doubt use 10 wt iso32 " im thinking this is the wrong stuff , it will lift a little past the first stage when the oil is cool but after warm up it lifts less and less. the motor doesent seem to labor it just stops lifting. it lifted fine when i got it a few months ago , but after the repair and the new fluid it does this, so if anyone has the info on the correct fluid weight or iso number it would help me a great deal,,thanks in advance. the tilt workes fine with weuight on it also the side shift it just wont go up too well

The hydraulic fluid should be AW68 not AW32 and the hydraulic pressure is 2900 PSI. I would try lifting a 3000# load and see if it will pick it up in the free lift stage. If it does then the pump should be good and the secondary cylinder(s) must be repacked. If it doesn't then either the pump is no good or the relief valve is set too low. The relief valve is located on the underside of the control valve and is covered with a plastic boot.
In all likelihood the pump is the issue since you said the problem is worse once the hydraulic fluid heats up.

you can use 10wt or AW32 for this truck
as for the lifting problem you may want to check the pressure relief valve and make sure its set correctly, or that it doesnt have a broken spring inside it.
look at the pump you installed and see if it has a relief valve on it, some of the older trucks had this setup instead of putting it at the control valve like most newer systems do. If its not there then you will need to check the hydraulic control valve and locate it there.

It sounds to me like it just isnt holding pressure.
You could also have a cylinder issue but i'd look at the relief pressure first.
