The 2025 Australian Forklift Championship was a highlight of the CeMAT Australia 2025 event in Sydney last week, with more than 30 individuals and teams competing for bragging rights.

The winner of the individual competition was Kaelyn Pakoti (Sydney Trains), with Andrew Galea (Krost Business Furniture) placing second, and Joe Willow (Primary Connect) taking out third place.

M3 Logistics Pty Ltd took out honours for the corporate competition, with Bunnings second and Primary Connect placing third.

“This year’s Australian Forklift Championship brought together the country’s most skilled drivers, biggest logistics names, and the loudest, proudest crowds we’ve ever seen,” CeMAT Australia states.

“With over 30 competitors across the individual and corporate competitions, we witnessed focus, precision, power, and pure talent, from solo operators aiming for individual glory to tightly coordinated teams giving it everything they had.

“It’s been an amazing experience to have hosted this platform to celebrate excellence in materials handling, and we’re thrilled to announce that the Australian Forklift Championship will return, bigger and bolder, at CeMAT Australia 2026 in Melbourne.”
