Camera on Forklift

Anyone ever tried installing cameras on forklift? I am thinking of doing that to 'catch' people vandalising the steering wheel, dasboard, meters, etc.

Very good plan there Ed What ever works.Safty rewards or loss of job.No I dont like the ideal of people losing their job.But in the lean market today, forklift repair and replacement cost add to the botom line of why jobs go overseas; profitability. When we lose factorys to china and mexico. We lose, they lose.Sorry Im going to get off my soap box now.

Not ment to be funny.I have let sevral owners know if they want repair cost down.Write up operators who abuse lifts and if that dont work fire a few, the rest learn real fast.

Thanks. We would do that IF we can catch the culprits!
That's the problem - identifying who did it.
Our forklifts are used by many people. So, it is hard to zero in on an individual unless he is caught red handed.

Fire a few drivers and let the rest know they will get it to.
That seams to work around here

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
