Code G5 issue

We got a truck in this week that pops a code G5. We don'thave any manuals for this model so if anyone could give any direction it would be great. Thanks

Check battery, under load, no shorts to frame.
Check K2 relay. remove it and verify all the female pins on the fuse card are snug and not discolored. look very closely at them, remove all relays and compare pins.

G5 is a short in the steer motor encoder. wires from steer encoder could pinched at deadman pedal assembly bracket. When it`s installed, wires can be pinched.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
