Discussion:
Nexen Dealership

One of my close friends plans to launch a Nexen dealeship in Poland and he asked me to ask some questions here.
Generally, he's a bit anxious to do the deal, due to the fact that Nexen is a "noname" brand in eastern Europe and the conditions written in contract draft are pretty tough.

For instance - no guarantee for the delivery time,
no responsibility for delivered truck condinion, no return of warranty costs on labour etc.

Generally such tough conditions you would expect from the biggest players on the market like Linde, Still, Toyota or Jungheinrich. But in fact, the big manufacturers conditions are much more reasonable. I know it from my own experience with Linde, Doosan and Yale.

He can't get any reasonable references nor informations concerning the actual users of the trucks so he cannot verify the declarations from the supplier about the quality, support etc.

Has anybody some experience with this brand. How about the deliveries (delays?), quality, service costs, spare parts availability, documentation, technical support, manufacturers attitude etc.

I would really appreciate some tips or advices.

Hi
Why not here?
If not here, then where?
I know, the answers value can be doubtfull, but still its always good to ask.

My friend was there.
There was a lot of marketing speech and very little of concretes.
He's long enough in trucks bussiness (15 years by Jungheinrich) to know, whats important.
Looks like he didn't get the satisfying answers.

I think, the most valuable are the infos from the people who can confirm the"very best quality, fantastic support, accurate deliveries" etc, because simply they experienced them. ;-)

Thanx. It really looks like valuable answer.
It was worth asking...

you should not ask such questions on a forum as you will never know the quality of the answers. I suggest your friend visits Nexen and asks the questions there.
