diff/clutch?

i have a fork with a drive prob it has a clutch setup on the back of the diff and its slipping.
I dont know whats inside so im looking for any info/manuals to do with it before i go striping it down the mod number is
FOER995024DLPFL45 im not even sure the lift capacity of it !
could someone please help out ? cheers, brian thomas

Just seen this one so it's a bit old, but the truck you have listed is a FOER9 9/50 the rest of the serial number means that it is rated at 5000lbs at 24 inch centres the DLPFL45means thaat it was fitted with Double. Lift. Part Free Lift down rated to 4500lbs at full lift height. Now you have that I must say I have never seen a [clutch-setup] behind the transmission diff. Are you sure it is not a braking system. You could remove it and fit a full length prop shaft. The universal joints are standard automotive type and available from Hardy Spicer. If you need any more info contact me through this site
