I HAVE REPLACED THE SENSOR ON THE STEERING THAT WAS BROKEN AND THE WHEELS WERE GOING IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. IT FIXED THIS FAULT BUT NOW WHEN YOU GO TO FULL LEFT THE DRIVE CUTS OUT AND CODE C1 APPEARS ON THE DASH. I HAVE TRYED TO ADJUST THIS SENSOR AND CAN GET RIGHT TURN OK BUT LEFT TURN ONLY 3/4 THEN STOP AND C1 CODE.
ANY IDEAS ?
THANKS

c1 indicates an current sensor problem.
could be that one of your motors has an internal short. c1 has nothing to do with your steering, but if that steering sensor isn't adjusted correctly, you can get strange things happening.
hi tabak
have done this. there is a sensor on each drive wheel is there a way to test these ? and what problem would they cause ? is code C-1 just a general steer fault code?
Hi mrforklift.
sorry my mistake
you need to put the sensor in a central position.
