Crown SC4020 - Very slow forward tilt.

Everything works fine except the forward tilt. Seems like it is fighting itself as you can hear the pump load up. Checked the block with the relief valve under the main manifold (tilt counterbalance valve. No drift.

Any ideas?

i would check the coils on SV1 & SV3 on the tilt manifold and make sure there is no residual voltage in the neutral position. the problem may be in the return circuit when you are trying to tilt forward. you can swap the coils to see if that helps but DO NOT swap the valves.

there is a tilt assist option for these trucks but i would need the serial number to know if your truck has it.

check your e-mail i have sent you some documents.
