Discussion:
hydraulics

The machine I am working on has about a 3 second lag when trying to down tilt the bucket, up tilt is instant. All other functions of the boom seem to work fine as well. Is there a valve that needs adjustment or replacement? Also, recently the tilt cylinder has been repaired. The weld for the cap on the base end of the cylinder had cracked. Are these related issues? Am I getting a surge or deadhead due to this lag?

I should think there is a anti creep check valve, have a look at that, it may be the problem
