Discussion:
Hyster Fortis line

does anyone have any feedback on the new fortis line of forklifts? are they really worth the extra money, and how much does it save in downtime and maintenance?

Also 8000 to 11000 no major problems.Just the hyd controls work good for ever or problems monthly just depends on truck. Also my operators are rough on them they pinch controls for a lert/right movement not designed for that.So It might not play a part in it if you operators know Forward/Backward contols dont move that way

Breathing life into an old post: With a fleet of 25 YALE VX TRUCKS in one place operating 24/7 wide open, We are seeing units with 9 to 11,000 hours with no tranny failures and except for a couple of head gaskets, no engine failures. We have put radiators in several trucks. Brake jobs around 5000 hours. Electrical components are doing great and no drive axle problems. These trucks were installed new, I think they have come along way from the old days, NMHG is putting out a great product
