Cat 2ec25e microcommand system code 29

Does anybody have any expericance with this code. I know it is the speed sensor. I still get this code even after the speed sensor and the sensor wiring have been replaced. This is an interminiet problem. When the code ativates the fwd or rev contactor do not pull in. You can then turn off the key and then back on and the unit returns to normal. I have checked all inputs to the login board and they are all ok. I have check the fwd/rev contator wiring and replaced both contactors and also the accelerator control.

Any open in the power circuit such as F & R contact tips, cables, terminals on motor. Regen contact has given the same problem if the contact does not pull in. Check coil resistance on Regen contact, should be approx 30 - 50 ohms. As you operate the truck the coil resistance may increase and cause the intermittent 29. Also I have seen the drive current sensor cause a 29 multiple times. Never found a bad speed sensor unless it was damaged. The logic does not see motor movement because of the open in circuit thus 29 comes up.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
