Ok got it thanks
So if one unit has it and there's no way to access the dash because it's a standard dash not a premium Dash how would you increase the speed? One of my rentals that I purchased from another dealer it's definitely speed reduced, and my rental customer wants it to go faster. And it does not have VSM or an Asterix on the dash display again thank you for all your input.

Pistol,

CDF - Configuration Data File. Depending on what is added to a lift, a CDF will need to be installed.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
Hi fish
My dash doesn't have the asterisk key
It's a standard dash
Also what does the CDF stand for?
Thanks

Pistol,

Looking at the CT's we have, they use a dash display that you can enter a password. Turn the key on and press the asterisk key four times. The top line should say enter password. Type in five 5's and press the pound key. This is the password that Hyster and Yale lifts come with from the factory. If you can access the dash, locate travel speed and adjust. If not, you can try to unplug the TISS and TOSS. I suspect you will end up with a code as it is setup with these sensors installed. Good Luck.

Pistol,

You will need to install the TISS and TOSS sensors into the transmission. The wiring harness is already in place. The CDF will need to be updated from Hyster and installed using Hyster PC Service tool. The dealer would need to assist. The TISS is 1541231 TOSS is 1541232. Good Luck.

Hi Fish, thanks for the fast response. Yes, the serial number is B267V01560N
Would be greatly appreciated to know what harness or additional parts I would need to do that,
Also, I have a jaltest, laptop, and cable to hook to the dash and I realize with no VSM it's kind of futile. I also have a laptop and cable and software for the PSI engine. Don't know if that's what you're talking about as far as having a Hyster tech come in. Thanx again.

Pistol,

Speed limit can be added with additional parts and harness. Then an update to the lift needs to be completed by a certified tech. The prefix to the serial number must start in B267. If the serial number starts in A267, not able to complete. Good Luck.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
