Palfinger's new middle-seat, truck-mounted forkliftPalfinger has launched its middle-seat, truck-mounted forklift, the FLM25, to the EMEA region.
The FLM25 prototype was unveiled at the Bauma International trade fair in Munich in April and is now also available in an electric model.
The FLM25 has a lifting capacity of 2.5T while maintaining a low dead weight under 2T.
It is suitable for use in most applications including rough terrain, as well as narrow and confined areas.
The central and elevated seating position is at a height of 1.44 m, offering a 360-degree view.
Palfinger says the forklift has a 180-degree steering angle; telescopic forks which allow goods to be unloaded from the second row of a truck and; a four-way steering mode.
“Our comprehensive range of truck-mounted forklifts puts us in a very strong market position,” says Andreas Hille, SVP global product line management and R&D at Palfinger.
“Side-seat and middle-seat models, in both standard and four-way versions, fully electric variants and box-mounted forklifts with remote control make us the only provider on the market to offer solutions across all categories.”
Palfinger says it will release its next model in the series, the FLM 15, a lighter version with a smaller mast suitable for the retail and beverage sectors, at the end of 2025.
