Discussion:
Leak from drive motor

I have this truck, and it appears to be leaking hydraulic fluid out of the brake and of the drive motor.
The Crown dealer in South Florida must do a good job because we do not get many of them in the shop here.
Does this sound right?
Is the drive unit running in hydraulic oil?
Is this a common issue?

TIA

I know the drive motor does not should not have any oil in it however, this one does I have a breakdown, but I do not see a seal. What keeps the oil from getting in the drive motor is my question?

The drive motors itself should have no fluid in it. Only the gear box and brake should have fluid.

The brakes are part of the hydraulic system and run hydraulic oil. There are 2 bleeding screws on the top of each brake, they possible could be open. The brakes are not super hard to take apart if it is an internal issue. I've never seen a lift with an internal brake leak. Otherwise the drive unit runs gear oil on the opposite side of the drive unit by the wheel
