Danny,

This code is for a failed motor encoder or wiring. Go to the drive motor and find the encoder connector, should have 4 wires. Disconnect the connector and check voltage between pin 1 and battery negative with key on, should read 5 volts. If good, move ground test lead to pin 4 of the same connector, again should read 5 volts. I would check your battery voltage to make sure jack is fully charged. Make sure all fuses are good. Should all this check good, need to verify wires from encoder to controller are good. May have failed encoder. Swap with same model truck to verify. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
