Discussion:
No Power Steering No Code

Forklift came into the shop with no power steering and showing no code. Have replaced pump, motor, hydrostatic steering valve, display board, steering cylinder above rear wheel, steering position sensor, and the current drive sensor. Still no power steering. Any ideas?

Forgot to clarify the motor does run. When we replaced the steering cylinder in the back the power steering worked for an hour then stopped again. Been stuck ever since.

I believe it requires a seat switch and park brake input to activate the PS contactor on the early models.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
