ouch
that's the throttle control. last one i did, spent forever doing all tests and installing a new throttle control. Didn't work!! it could be a short , open, or internal binding of electric throttle motor.
mine ended up being rotten wires ALL over the harness. everything i touched broke in pieces.
Start at fuse box area, left and right kick panels. Fix anything corroded. I ended up also replacing the fuel pressure sensor plug at TB
It's notorious for bad connections.
BTW< there is an OBD2 connector under the cup holder. You can clear codes easily with cheap scan tool, set to "Mitsubishi"
Throttles can fail...but installing one and finding out the harness is bad really....you know what
