Thank you for your help. I am a automotive technician, and I rebuilt the transmission on this forklift as a favor for my neighbor, due to the forklift technician that came out not being able to figure out what was wrong with the transmission. But now I am asked to look at this warning light and I don't have a way to scan for any faults, and I don't know the parameters that cause the light to come on. There is 2 black wires back there that someone jumped together is that possibly the wire your referring to? Again thanks for your help.
Hi Bley
The light you refer to is the gas bottle light.
It can refer to the bottle carrier being open if you have a swing out carrier, or a gas low indicator if one is fitted.
If you have neither,
Behind the left hand engine cover near where the bonnet ram attachés to the chassis, there is a cluster of wires, check nobody has mistakenly joined the lpg warn wires together.
Hopes this helps.
I believe that is the low LPG light if your refering to the one lit up in the picture
