Hi we have this bendi, Ser No. TLR8104. Uaes the 2 silver GE Sep ex controllers.

The truck drives fine in straight and on a right lock.

However when we go to left lock the one motor stops and even when straightening the truck will still not work the one motor unless truck is reset. Yet when the truck is off the floor it works fine in left lock too.

Engineer has swapped controllers accross to see if fault transfers. Still the same. Engineer copied settings from a working truck and checked and that is identical.

Engineer even set up steer pot settings according to the manual.

Does anyone have any suggestions that could help us get to the bottom of this please?

Last call is the motor even though everything reads ok and under load is also.ok except when loading in a left lock.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies. We managed to get to the bottom of the problem. One of the cables to the buz bar for the negative would come loose after a few days, the thread was faulty. So Engineer put in a longer bolt with a nut on the other side. So far so good.

Thanks once again.

Hi thanka for the reply. This has the GE system and does not have the additional curtis box. Pot voltages have been checked on the steering pot that is also.ok.

Really confused at the moment. We are going to try a complete new controller on Monday for both sides.

As well as the 2 sepex controllers it may have a curtis 1310-5310 controller in the middle. I am working on the same problem. You can measure the steering sensor on J4-7. It should give about 0.5 volts full left 4.5 volts full right and 2.2 in the middle.
