Anybody ever have a spin on transmission filter blow off a Hyster ? I have a H40XL with a spin on trans filter that spins into the side of transmission. It actually sheared off the threads of filter!! Any suggestions out there before I pull off control valve?

Honestly, I had dozens of transmission filters either split or blown off over the last 25 years but only on Hysters when not using an O.E filter. No more problems once I installed an original Hyster filter. Not saying this is your issue but it cured my problem.
