Discussion:
What Model of Forklift do I have

Hello all, new to owning a forklift as of today!

Bought an older Hyster in good condition! I believe it's an 1985 based on the last number of the serial number being an F.

I can't really find any more information on it, unfortunately the model number is obscured on the name plate so I'm not sure how to figure that out. Came here to ask if anybody has a clue!

Serial number is - C001803207F

All I can see of the model number is - H35, the rest is obscured.

Has a approx. weight of 6500 lbs

Max lifting capacity of 3,350 lbs.

The ebrake doesn't work great so I'd like to get some information on how to fix that!

Cheers,

Brady

Probably an h35 xl or xm. The brake issue could be just cables frozen or stretched. Or a bad lever assembly

The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
