Discussion:
Unit lifts but does not travel

I have a RSS40 that lifts but does not travel. When you try and use it, it flashes a code 2,3. Does anyone have any idea what to check or the cause? I have replaced the Potentiometer and Curtis box. Any help would be appreciated.

It should stil have a break switch and wires that go to it. Bottom of the handle. You have to remove the e clip, shaft and rubber bumper.

No travel is usually the small wiring harness that goes to the brake switch.
