Brake fluid

Have a customer with this unit and needs new master cylinder we located a new one but woundering what type of brake fluid. This unit is probally 40 yeras old? not sure but think it may take DOT5? thanks

On these older units sometimes I have to rebuild the existing parts using rebuild kits from Napa.

I doubt a 40 yr old unit will take dot5...will more than likely be just dot 3/4...but best bet it to find someone with a service manual to double check
