Discussion:
Hyster H80XM LPG

Hi, I am having a issue with the forklift stumbling. Starts and runs fine but at idle it will stumble like it's about to die for about 1 second, then run fine again. This happens about every 5 to 10 seconds. If I give the unit throttle it will rev up, but it still stumbles, about every 5 to 10 seconds at higher RPM's.

Thanks in advance for the help.

some of these units have what they call a dashpot on the throttle.
if it is not adjusted correctly it can allow the throttle to drop too low or have a surge in it like what you are describing.
On the higher rpm's i'm not sure what that might be unless it has a mechanical governor on it, if thats been tampered with it might be out of adjustment causing that surge.

At the opening ceremony of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1932, marching bands were instructed to walk out of step as they crossed the bridge. This unusual directive was given as a precaution due to concerns about the bridge's structural integrity during its early use.
