chublil,
The way I see it, as mitsiclark said, I have nothing to hide. Are you afraid of your company, or someone else? I don't say anything here I haven't said to my boss, and I certainly don't fear for my job. Honestly, the only person to fear already knows everything there is to know about me and what I have to say. If honesty is a crime, I shall be guilty forever.
So how small are yours?

When you have nothing to hide why not use your name, although when i was with barlo all techs were told by management that if we were caught on here even on our own time we would be imediatly terminated! What were they worried about.....LOL!!!!

Fix it right!!!
ponykilla,

Sounds like you got a raw deal from people you thought would be for you or beg you to stay. It wasn't the company, it was the people. I wasn't real thrilled when we lost the brungart name, but life goes on. I would agree, there are some who should be axed but alas, that is not in my control.

birbinalabama... How about enlightening all of us to the unethical practices by LiftOne. If you can't elaborate, I suggest you post a retraction of your statement. Trust me from an unknown source doesn't carry much weight. Throwing out statements simply makes you look like a disgruntled employee. I, for one, am anxious to hear.

Barloworld is a product of their own micromanagement. They came in with the program, One time fix, then took all our parts of our vans. Hard to fix anything without parts. I look forward to the opportunity to see what Lift One actually allows the techs to have. It's really bad when the competitor has parts for the Hyster you don't. When the Fortis truck came out, tried to stock a starter, alternator, and belt... was told I showed no usage so it wasn't necessary. Customer has to wait overnight because they are 60 miles from the branch. In this area, Yale isn't the biggest competitor.

Selling Hyster is one thing, turning a profit is another.

The failure of Barloworld is a by product of NACCO synergy.

LiftOne is still going to have to compete with the local Yale dealer. The customer is still in the driver's seat if he/she wants to purchase a Yale or a Hyster.

What leads you to believe that LiftOne is unethical? How is it that you've ever had contact with LiftOne being that they are not currently located in your area.....(but soon will be)?

Briggs does have a nice profit sharing plan, once you are vested, but they don't give ALL their profits to the employees. If they did they couldn't afford to buy out other lift companies.
