Discussion:
the End of Materials Handling as it is known today

The Materials Handling market is about to change. With only around six or seven of the world's manufactures serving. With in the next 10 years most warehouse will be completely different Companies like KION of China DAMATIC or TOYOTA of Japan VANDERLANDE will dominate the warehouse business with hole turnkey products. Pallet trucks, reach trucks VNA truck will all be replaced with automated equipment.

Counter balance forklift sales will also decline and be replaced with complete handling systems that will be able to move products around a facility with out the need of an operator. Out side the facility there will also be big changes Both Diesel and electric forklifts will be replaced with 100% zero emission products that will have much longer ranges then electric forklifts and will be able to handle loads up to 72,000kg while being 100% zero emission. Companies Like Hyster who have backed Hydrogen to the tune of up to $260 million investment will see this disappear as hydrogen forklifts wont be able to compete with the new technologies that will offer lower cost's ,no need for high pressure systems ,be less explosive and more cost effective than hydrogen.

Exalt leading the way to a zero emission future
Showing items 461 - 480 of 530 results.
Well if you don't work for one of these companies Toyota,KION,Mistubishi Logisnext, Junghhienrich,Kalmar, Kone Cranes , Sany Helli or Hangcha,or are a dealer for companies other than these you probably won't be around by the time we launch at the end of the year so our truck won't really effect you.
As we don't have all the associated cost and overheads that OEM'S and dealers have with no real income how long will they last.

Exalt leading the way to a zero emission future
Since all is quiet on the BS front I imagine Exalt is working up a module for his forklift that will cure the Coronavirus simply by driving it around. If he didn't have the truck equipped for that already.

Yeah did a quick Google search and found articles going back to 2009 saying they are coming out with this truck. Back then it was under the Shaw Material Group.
11 years later and no proof of product.
Every time I need a good chuckle I come read this thread.

Reminds me of the title of one of the Four Tops hit songs from 1965 "It's The Same Old Song." Was almost 21 then and living on the South side of Motown then. But the big differences is that & still like to listen to Motown songs and for our friends from Britain the Beatles stuff too.

"Have An Exceptional Day!"
nice chrisk
that is his site too apparently
domain registration and the supporting group etali seem to lead back to him (Mr David C.)
so yeah another website registered on oct 2018 with the same promotional content. The site design is a lot like his video in many ways. Interesting to see what you can find if you just take the time to look :o)
There is a crude spec page "The V range" on that website with general truck specifications but no photos, only 2 models listed, nothing specifically identifiable.

When you show us what you have then and only then will you shut down your critics. Mean while the carbon taxes on diesels is just a drop in the bucket as far as costs are concerned. Might surprise you but 0 emission units are already on the west coast (California) And more than one big over the road truck companies are offering LI tech trucks with 200 to 250 mile range with 2 hour charge cycle. As far as the LI tech is concerned, there has been a lot of progress on the Tech. A lot like the micro chip innovations , the tech is getting better every day. 80 t0 90 thousand LB lifts are already out there.

Dave google exalt pal and the 3rd or 4th link is a crowd funding beg from Dave the director of exalt pal so yes you have. I'm not asking for full spec sheets I'm asking for you to post proof this wonder truck exists, something you an incapable of doing. What would you know about a night out in Halifax anyway pal I doubt you've ever been there with your spelling English certainly isn't your first language.
Once again proof pal it's 10 months since you we're going to show the truck to the world pal

well I'm sure you will be happy to know that our new truck meets all global certifications and will be ready for the fourth quarter of 2020.

Even with all that is going on now, that could see a total change in the industry with Global sale totals possibly dropping by as much as 40%, and with heavy lift truck sales possibly dropping by as much as 70%. A result of all might be that some OEM's might not be about by the end of 2021 in the form they are in now. In late 2020 or early 2021 some companies could find they self's looking for shareholder help to balance their finances, One company has seen it share price drop from a 52 week high of 68 to now 36 and this looks likely to fall further during the year. So with the move to tier V and also the move for more sustainable products, that are not only sustainable but are also cost effective and offer good productivity. I'm sure you will all be relieved that we are in a strong position.

Exalt leading the way to a zero emission future
This whole discussion is nothing more than a person needing attention, that's why it runs in cycles every few months. By now, we all know the outcome. When the 4th Quarter arrives, there will be NO truck. There will be NO proof of a truck. There will only be excuses and more promises. There will more unverifiable claims like "Those who need to see it already have" There will be more dodging questions with unverifiable claims. There will definitely be more "but Hyster......" In the end, the ONLY thing that will change is the date of Exalt's next big list of claims and troll posts.

I like to think I am open minded and prepared to listen to reason but I am not seeing any in your post. You have a track record of proclaiming and making statements without verification. Coming from an R&D background credibility is ultra important. Unfortunatley you have lost all since being unable to back up your prior claims about the new modular designed forklift which you stated would be unveiled in Q1/2 2019.
Like every industry the landscape is shifting and accelerating due to global influences namely economic and green agendas at international level driven by government policy in response to public and other pressures despite the tradionalist lobby groups. Nothing new in that. However the material handling industry will never drive innovation but rather follow, copy, incorporated and adopt from larger more resourced and financed industries, again nothing new in that.

Having said that your posts are a source of great entertainment, to me at least.

We have Spec sheets to DIN/BITA/FEM/ISO standards but as you can't put a spec sheet on this forum, I can't really post them. People have emailed me and enquired about the spec and I have sent them copies which I suppose they are happy with because they have not really had any major question about the trucks weight, length width or offer performance figures. The performance figures are quite like what you would expect from any diesel truck manufactured with similar components. Now because of how we lay the truck out we can make significant reductions in the truck weight, length & width, and the engine technology allows us to run 100% zero emission

Now as for other OEM's we do quite a lot of research into other OEM's and in the past people have found this quite interesting, here I'm meaning Linde HTD & I have been informed its was actually post on forums like this one that made the management at this OEM tell their employees what their plans were long before they wanted to. Allowing their employees to be in the full picture of the facts of their plans.

Now again i do know other OEM's would rather we weren't able to produce our truck and some employees of these companies post things

Exalt leading the way to a zero emission future
nice job at NOT answering the questions exhalt
- where's the evidence (not general specs you can find anywhere else on the net about other current machines)
are you having problems getting this truck out of production (or IN production?)
you keep bumping up the due dates, you insinuate that it is a viable working truck ready for release in the 4th quarter (or is it?)
you have yet to provide ANY REAL evidence supporting these claims, all you've done is dance around the issue with elusive specs and math calculations on emission standards etc. that anyone can look up on the internet, but as of yet we are still waiting on you to provide us with what you are promoting and have been promoting for quite a long time now. You keep changing the due dates and posting information about OTHER mfg's, NOT YOUR supposed machine.
You do have an official VDI spec sheet don't you? Show us?
So can you not see why WE (those that doubt you) are taking the stance we are?

Most of us have been around this business for decades and know the industry pretty well and do know what is out there and what is coming (in reality).
But all we've heard from you is what we call in our neck of the woods BS (you figure it out)
So far we've seen nothing but elusive pointless chatter from you.
If you were a smart man you would not say another word about this until you ACTUALLY have something SUBSTANTIAL and CREDIBLE and REAL to offer.
Talk is cheap and too much talk is just wasting time and pointless and deceptive (in your case).

It is hard to take anyone serious that doesn't know the difference between a "litter" and a "litre" or a "liter" in American spelling.

"Have An Exceptional Day!"
Well thanks it nice to see all the complementary comments about me. But as soon as I mention some one who claims to have forgotten more about the this industry or the future of this industry than us forgetting something people say something.

Now you ask where we are getting our figures from. If you look at any spec sheet for the types of trucks we have said you will see the average 12,000kg forklift will use 12 litters of Diesel per hour, one litter of diesel produces 2.68KG of CO2 and around 370L of Diesel produces one ton of CO2. At the moment the carbon tax ranges from $10 - $120 depending on which country you look at. Now most countries will use an average of $50 carbon tax per ton in 2023. So really its just basic maths.

Second we have never done any crowd funding we are backed by privet backers

Thirdly like I have said the truck is ready for release to the public in the fourth quarter of 2020.

if you think Halifax is a good night out you are years behind the times.

We are still 10 years in front of you

He hasn't got any proof, that's why he keeps deflecting with facts and figures, the easiest thing to do would be show some evidence and shut everyone up but he obviously can't as he has been coming out with the same crap for 10 years!!

Dave nice rant pal and getting into the insults very well I see. Where are you getting your figures from?? The fairies at the bottom of your garden pal (although that was in Cottingley not Halifax). I know the education system in Halifax isn't very good (the only good thing about Halifax is it's a good night out), but I do wonder if English is your mother tongue as your post are always full of laughable spelling lol.
Where is your wonder truck Dave?. It's nearly a year since your April 2019 reveal date pal. I do wonder if this exists anywhere but in your head??
A final question Dave how did the crowd funding work out for you? As a company with the backing you claim to have I do wonder why you were on the net cap in hand begging for cash?? A phrase we use in Yorkshire for you here it goes the proof is in the pudding, where's the proof Dave??

The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
