Discussion:
Terex Kone cranes

Terex are evaluating an offer to buy them from Chinese company Zoomlion, If they accept this it will stop the deal with Kone Cranes , but as KoneCranes and Terex both manufacture heavy forklift and container handling equipment will Terex split this business and sell it separately to Kone. The purchase off linde heavy lift trucks by Kone only resulted in the disappearance of the Linde big trucks to the advantage of companies Like Sany.

So how will Kone make a deal happen and work that did not work out with Linde

It might be a bad move if you are the one who is facing losing your job ,The big truck market is now just down to three main manufactures in container handling equipment Kalmar Kone and Sany and four in forklifts by adding Hyster , Taylor are always going to be there in the USA.

It will be interesting to see if FTMH benefit from the Italian closers

Not too long....but that does not necessarily be a bad move.
Consolidation in a tough market is king.

It looks like the Kone cranes purchase of TEREX port equipment will go through. How long before they shut down TEREX forklift production in Italy and Reach stacker production in France

See Kone cranes have bought Terex ports solutions , what will this mean for the market and will this be the same disaster as the Linde Heavy truck purchase by removing another competitor to allow for competitors like sany and TFMH to gain market share
