Discussion:
Tansmission

I have a late 70's H50 hyster I don't know much about forklifts but the tranmission shifts from reverse to forward through the gas pedal. The forklift sat for about 5 years due to bad brakes so I finally got the brakes fix and new ignition parts now the trouble I'm having is the forklift will not move?????????? I filled the hydaulic tank the is mounted under the seat on the rh side the mast works steering works but no go????? any help would be appreciated the hydraulic tank was empty when I went to fill it is there some sort of bleeding process or am I just plain missing something

does this have the hydraulic lines on the accelerator pedal or switches, does the rev lights come on or back up alarm activate? Check your inching valve to see if it is stuck or not just not working.
