Doosan (& Daewoo) G25E-3:
Strage exhaust odour

Hi Guys. I have a Doosan Daewoo G25E-3 with a very strange exhaust odor. I thought maybe over fuel so I put a kit in the propane regulator and it only slightly helped. When the exhaust gets rely hot it has a strange odour. Is there a possibility the o2 sensor is causing this? Or is there some type of catalyst in that muffler that is breaking down???

yes there will be a cat in the exhaust, most likely the "smell" will be related to the cat and the richness of the fuel mixture.

KN00222. 687 original Hrs. This unit is pristine. New plugs and Regulator Kit 5 days ago. Still has a very strange odour. I am wondering if there is some kind of catalytic convertor in that exhaust as I don't see a lot of Doosan/Daewoo stuff.

serial number?
have you done a complete tune up?
how many hours on the motors and the current tune up.
