Crown RC5500:
Steer Pot

I have a rc5500 that fails steer pot calibration. I put a new one on and got the same results. If you go to steer pot values it reads correctly 90 degrees 0 degrees and -90 degrees when you cycle through the steering also the voltage is correct according to the manual but it will fail every attempt at calibration on the last step when you go to center steering am I missing something? The pot is slotted for adjustment but the book says nothing about adjusting it. Also throws no codes. The truck does not drive right when you hit full lock left or right. If you slowly turn full right it will stop turning right and go left same when turning left I know that part is because of the steer pot controlling the drive motors.

Are you trying to calibrate the original pot or did you replace it

In 1915, Charlie Chaplin entered a Charlie Chaplin lookalike competition, as a joke. He entered under an assumed name and impersonated his well-known film self but he did not win. He was 27th overall.
