Starts normal then high idle

I'm working on a truck that starts ok. Idles OK but within 60 seconds begins to run at a very high idle. I've replaced the idle solenoid but it made no difference. If i disconnect the idle solenoid it actually runs better. There are no codes. Any help is appreciated.
