Discussion:
SRO fault code

Hi,

I have an issue on Crown WAV50-118, it wont move or lift. Contact lights are on, charging and horn are working. Diagnostics shows an Static return to off activated (SRO). Checked steer and power potenciometers and they are fine. Tried to replace both hand controls and still same malfunction.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I had the same issue and I have now resolved it. The electric pallet truck CROWN did not want to start and the error code SR0 was displayed (startup error). I removed the plastic plate at the bottom of the drawbar. The brake switch (left side) did not work properly because it was clogged with dust and grease (it was always pushed). I cleaned it and then I reassembled it. The error has disappeared and the pallet truck is working again!!!

Check the foot switches are working , by doing a continuity check. Also check the two black wires ,that are twisted together and in a white bullet connector haven't come apart. You can get access to foot switches by using the platform base switch set to base and then raise the platform

some wav units have a switch that prevents normal start up if the little door in front (where you plug up the battery charger and have the 'push-drive' switch) is not properly closed, you may also have a problem with the gates or one of the 2 foot (operator presence) switches is not working as expected.
