WE HAVE A FEW OF THESE TRUCKS AND ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH SLOW FORWARD AND BACK TILT ON ALL OF THEM. TAKES APPROX. 10 SECONDS TO GO FROM FULL BACK TO FORWARD TILT. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS TO INCREASE TILT SPEED.

Yes they are slowed down for higher lifts. 7 seconds should be the maximum time though. The adjustment is located on the bottom of the spool sections and can only be accessed AFTER removing the lower crossbolt that holds the control valve bodies together. It requires a allen wrench to adjust and YES, the valve assembly must be removed from the dividing wall that separates the compartment from the battery box area. Yes its a *** to do.
have they always been slow. how high is your lift ? 3stg lifts usually have tilt slowed down to stop erratic movement when high up
Check auxillary pressure at tilt cylinder--should be 2250 (+or-) 50 psi---is the spool in valve stroking full in and full out? -- If pressure is out of specs, possible faulty aux-relief---does mast drift forward by it self when sitting with load?--If it does packing in one or both tilt cyl's leaking--main pressure 2850psi---steer--1300psi
