Discussion:
Shuts off when put in gear

I have a Clark G30CL outta nowhere forklift turns on but the moment I try putting it fwd or reverse it dies on me. Checked all fuses on the right bottom side where the box is all of them seem to be fine. Relay are clicking so don't think they are bad. Another thing I notice I'm not getting any lights on dash nor hours but you do see the dash illuminated when opening the key switch. If anyone knows what it could be or set me in the right direction would appreciate it.

Issue was the dash. The cable that connects in the back is hold by a screw sometimes it come loose or the plastic brakes. That was the issue the dash.

His description matches my issues to the T and the dashboard was the culprit.
