resetting codes?

I have a Cat. E3000 fork lift and I know batt. is geting weak but we been using it while we are trying to get new Battery for it, now it don`t do anything but flash E 2 times on the 3rd time it will switch to L anddo that 2 times and does it over and over, any help would be great, thanks

Sounds like seat switch by pass it and I bet it works
