Special tools for a site depend on what trucks you have on the site - but any very specialist tools required for that one of job can be sourced for next day.
The fast moving parts you keep on site will go on to your stock replen so they will be replaced quickly as you use them - the parts system learns what you use & its reviewed & adjusted often.
There isn't really a bonus system for site engineers apart from attendance bonus - turn up for your full week & you will get it on top of your basic pay.
There is a shift premium for working shifts & overtime can be available but that depends on the site & workload.
You would get Toyota company & product training to start with on the normal family of machines etc.
Any other machines would mean a product training course on it.
There are always different training courses coming up & you would go at least once a year for some kind of training refresh.
Technical support on site is the online hub from desktop pc OR phone your manager or one of the other site or field engineers you would get to know.
We are like one big family, theres always the opportunity to ring / email someone for advice.
If line manager / other local engineers cant help then theres also senior service managers, technical services & training departments that can help with odd faults / requests.
Toyota diagnostics is all basically done via the dashboard unless its a basic Tonero ( very rare we see these now ) then its handheld analyser.
The BT stuff is much better to diagnose - done on the dash or via Truckcom software.
