We have a DP25 diesel that caught fire so everything from the engine back was rebuilt or new. It burnt the electrical connector on the shift solenoid of the transmission but that was as far to the front it went. We got it running and driving but after driving a little bit it looses forward and reverse almost like you just moved the selector into neutral. If I turn it off and let it set a few minutes it might move into forward and reverse a few times until there is nothing. Were stumped on what it could we tore the valve body off and insured all the plungers were moving conrrectly and she shift solenoid was working properly. Anybody have any pointers to troubleshoot this problem.
