So does anyone have any literature or links on the correct way to chain down forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks etc for transport. I find every driver has there own way and that its kind of a grey area. For example on a CB Forklift some guys will go over the tilt cyl. and through the tow pin on the counterweight. I have seen others go around the mast towards the counterweight and from the tow pin towards the mast. Also, some lifts have obvious chaining points where others have none at all? SAFETY THIRD!
