Hello all,

I seem to be having a lot of issues with the resonators on these trucks but can not figure out the real problem. I have noticed some of these trucks start having hard to start and low power issues. I take the vacuum hose off of one side of the resonator and the trucks start and run normally. The resonator sits close to the fuel regulator either under or beside it close to the radiator. One hose goes from regulator to resonator. The other side of the resonator connects to the air inlet pipe. I would like to know what the actual problem is and why taking a vacuum hose off the resonator helps. Could someone please explain???
