Hello,

We are new to the forums. After a brief forum search we were unable to find the answer to our question so:

Is it critical to use hydraulic fluid specified by the equipment manufacturer?

From another angle:

Can we use one type of hydraulic fluid for serveral different (and very old) machines?

We have several old boom lifts, a hyster fork lift, an old sweeper, two Genei scissor lifts, and a couple of other dinosaurs.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
