first make sure the plugs are not burned out, gap should be.035, if gap is very wide replace plugs

this code is generated when ignition looses signal for a predetermined period of time
yes it could be the crank sensor but also could be the cam sensor
sometimes replacing both sensors as a pair fixes this problem.

you also may want to check the egi relays in the relay box
