If this unit has an Aisin regulator you can drain the byproduct from the regulator. With the unit warmed up well. You can find a 12mm plug on the back lower side of the regulator. Shut down the unit remove the plug. You may need to put a tag under the opening to catch the byproduct. Allow it to drain. Repeat till you get little to nothing coming out. This will help. This should be done on your PM services. It will help prolong your regulator life.
