If this unit has an Aisin regulator you can drain the byproduct from the regulator. With the unit warmed up well. You can find a 12mm plug on the back lower side of the regulator. Shut down the unit remove the plug. You may need to put a tag under the opening to catch the byproduct. Allow it to drain. Repeat till you get little to nothing coming out. This will help.
