actually this NR EA unit has hyd down assist which the pump actually reverses direction while lowering to assist faster speed while lowering. Now the unit that the motor stops working is a setting that you have to adjust thru the dash. Find your local yale dealer and have them do it for you to get hydraulic to work proper. there is 2 versions of this NR. one premium and other is retail. THis unit is premium. good luck
